Hello guys!
With all of the snow and clouds lately here in The Netherlands, I've wanted to show you a bright blue neon! This is from the China Glaze Summer Neons collection. It's the only one I've picked out from this collection, and I am happy I did!
My camera did NOT like this colour at all! The colour is a bit more saturated in reallife.
Like any neon, this dries up fairly dull. The swatches are with topcoat. I slapped on 2 coats, and even though IRL you can't see a visible nailline, I did notice it when editing the photos. The formula is a bit on the thick side, but nothing you can't work with.
Basecoat: Essence studio nails 24/7 nail base.
Topcoat: INM Out the door.

Max Factor - Fantasy Fire
Hello dearies!
(Yes, I've just been watching Once Upon a Time, can't help acting like Rumple).
Today I have for you the so called dupe of the unicorn pee (a.k.a Clarins 230). Since I've known it went on retail here in The Netherlands, I knew I had to get my hands on one! I walked into my local drugstore and I found the last one in stock!
Just looking at all the pretty colours in the bottle makes me almost drool!
I've swatched it onto Illamasqua's Faux Pas, which is an awesome purple with a special "rubber" finish. (I will make another blogpost about this beauty soon). I only put one coat on, and it blew my mind away. Unfortunately, there was no sun out, but I managed to capture a small bit of this beauty.
The swatches honestly don't do this polish justice. It is just pure awesome in a tiny bottle!
I also heard that it was not only going retail at the Etos, but there were also some rumours flying around you could get it now at Kruidvat. So if you live in the Netherlands, get it while you can!

China Glaze - Trendsetter
Hello guys!
Today I have for you a china glaze polish from the Metro fall collection from 2011. The colour is called Trendsetter and I love it SO much! It's a yellowy mustard and really it is a love it or hate it colour. I also really like the subtle shimmer in it.
At first I didn't think this one would go well with my skintone, but it actually kind of did.
The formula is a-ma-zing, it applied like butter. I slapped on 2 coats.

Holographic goodness with Teeez! Cool
So today, finally, the weather is getting a lot better, with a lot of sunshine. And you all know what sunshine means right? Yep, Holo's!
This polish is from Teeez! and this is number 02, Cool, it's a light babyblue colour. I used the Gosh Fix base coat which is especially made for holographic polishes. I've never used this polish without the fix base coat, so I don't really know how application is without. The base coat made application flawless. I used 3 effortless coats of holographic goodness. After that I topped it off with INM out the door topcoat. The topcoat didn't dull the holo-effect in my opinion.
My camera even freaked out with the pictures in direct sunlight, so it couldn't quite capture the full holographic effect. So without further a do, here are the pictures:

China Glaze and Chanel Konad
Today I wanted to do a konad again, I used plate m65 for the rose design. I really felt like using some fall colours, since all the fall collections are all coming out at the moment. So this is a base of three coats of China Glaze Loft-y Ambitions and I stamped the design on with Chanel Particulière. I really adore both colours. However, when I used my topcoat, I noticed it smudged the design a little bit. That's something I really need to practice on with konading.

Gouda Gouda Two Shoes Konad
So, I decided to really wanted to try stamping nailart again, and here it is. I used the leopeard print from plate M57 from Konad. This really is one of my favourite plates!
The base colour I used was OPI's Gouda Gouda Two Shoes and for the stamping I used China Glaze Urban-night. So on to the swatches!
I really loved this combo! At first I merely thought: Mehh.. But after a couple of hours I found I really liked it. It took some getting used to with the konading, but I'm really gonna do this more often. Have a nice weekend!

China Glaze Tronica - Virtual Violet
Today I have for you guys a polish from the China Glaze Tronica collection. If you didn't get your hands on the OMG or Kaleidoscope collections this one will also do.
This baby is called Virtual Violet and it's a pretty one! It's a vibrant purple with lots of scattered holo going on!
Application is perfect, almost a one-coater, this is two coats though. I would advice to use a basecoat which is for holographic polishes. I used the Gosh Fix basecoat, because of this basecoat the polish dried a little rubbery. I used Seche Vite as a topcoat.
